Description
Swelling in the right middle ear with hearing impairment
The board of a non-profit organization of which I am a member had decided to convert the organization into a foundation. There was a general meeting to discuss this plan with the members and then vote on it.
I thought the foundation idea was good and well-founded and hoped that the vote would be in its favor. In the discussion before the vote, there were many good questions for the board. In general, the foundation idea was well received and it seemed as if it was being accepted by the members.
Suddenly, someone behind me questioned the whole idea of the foundation. The person in question was very pessimistic, for example about finding well-known (representative) foundation board members and a lot more. I could already see the idea of the foundation receding into the distance. I was afraid that there might be more comments like this or that other members would be infected by the pessimism and no longer vote for the foundation.
When it came to the vote, all members voted for the foundation except for the one person who had expressed such pessimism. When the number of votes for and against was announced loudly, I was totally relieved and in the next minute my right ear closed (swelling in the middle ear) and I could hardly understand my friend to my right.
After the members' meeting I went home. At home my hearing gradually improved (the swelling in my middle ear went down). I didn't feel any pain, the conflict was probably too short for that.
Note from Ingmar Marquardt:
Thank you for the nice, descriptive report - for all those who are new to the topic, as an addition: It was about the SBS of the endodermal middle ear mucosa with the conflict content, "having to hear something in order to get the desired morsel" (right side).
Note: Have you also had exciting experiences with the 5BL? If so, it would be great if you could send us an anonymized report so that we can publish it in the archive and everyone can benefit from your experiences. Thank you very much!
