Description

Sooo, to my experience report with my cat. About 6 months ago, my tomcat developed complaints in his throat area. He suddenly started making grunting noises when sniffing, eating and grooming. Otherwise he was not conspicuous and behaved normally. So I observed it first and when there was no change after 2 weeks, I went to the vet for a diagnosis.

The vet's diagnosis was inflammation in the throat area with swelling. As my cat was almost 11 years old and had some dental calculus on his back teeth, the cause of the inflammation in his throat was quickly found. The bacteria from the teeth were to blame 🙈😅.
I was given a homeopathic remedy and left again. As I wasn't quite so familiar with Germanic medicine, I also tried homeopathy first. Unfortunately without result.

Finally, I went in search of the traces of Dr. Hamer's teachings and was able to find out that this must be a chunk conflict, which is actually already in the healing process. With this knowledge, I waited again. Unfortunately, it didn't get any better even after weeks and the possibility increased that the conflict was probably recurring from time to time, i.e. that it was in a hanging cure. Then the search began. Which lump doesn't he get?

Because I work in a specialist cat food store and sometimes change the food, I thought maybe he was missing a certain variety. But testing didn't give me any results and I couldn't find anything else that might suddenly be different.
A few more weeks went by without any improvement of the symptoms until I noticed a scene with my cat.

I live in a basement apartment with a window to the garden, have a small enclosed piece of lawn which I use and my cats can also move around there. I moved here last year in October and previously lived in an attic apartment on the 5th floor on a high traffic street and so my cats had lived as house cats for 10 years. Now they were able to go outside a bit in the new apartment, but their space was limited due to the fence.
Now to the scenario that I saw by chance.

My cat had been watching some birds in the garden outside the fence and was waiting for them. When one of the birds came quite close to the fence, he tried to catch it, but failed because of the fence in the way. Then I realized that the bird, or perhaps another hunting object outside the fence, must be the chunk he couldn't swallow. So I had probably found the cause of the conflict and had to think about how to solve it. Finally, after a few days of consideration, I decided to give my cats unrestricted outdoor access after 10 years, installed a cat flap and on November 12th it was the first day of outdoor access for my cat and, look what happened, it took less than 2 weeks and the complaints were gone. No more grunting and no more swelling and the kittens are also enjoying their new-found freedom and I'm happy that I found the solution, they're all healthy and I'm happy every time the flap wobbles and my two stinkers are back home with dad after their tour!

By the way, as a small addition. My cats are 11 and 9 years old, apart from the usual veterinary treatments before they came to me as kittens, they have never been vaccinated or given any other medication. Up until now, apart from the current conflict with the male cat, they have never been “ill” and are both still as fit and agile as kittens!”
